Terms and Conditions – The Khalsa Garden
By participating in The Khalsa Garden at Gurudwara Dashmesh Darbar Sahib, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Personal Responsibility: All participants acknowledge that gardening involves physical activity and potential risks. You assume full responsibility for your own safety and well-being while working in the garden.
Liability Waiver: Gurudwara Dashmesh Darbar Sahib, its management, and any associated property owners shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, damages, or losses that may occur in or around the garden. Participation is entirely at your own risk.
Supervision of Minors: Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. The Gurudwara and garden organizers take no responsibility for the safety of minors.
Respect for Property & Community: Participants must respect the garden, its tools, crops, and fellow volunteers. Any form of damage, theft, or misconduct will result in removal from the project.
No Compensation or Claims: Participation in The Khalsa Garden is strictly voluntary and based on seva (selfless service). No financial claims, compensation, or demands will be entertained.
Compliance with Guidelines: Participants must follow all safety instructions and gardening guidelines provided by project coordinators. Failure to do so may result in removal from the initiative.
Zero Tolerance for Anti-Sikh or Malicious Behavior: Any person involved in anti-Sikh activities or malicious behavior against Gurudwara Sahib will be removed at the sole discretion of Gurudwara Sahib without any prior notice.
Registration Requirement: All participants must be registered before attending. No walk-ins will be allowed, and registration must be completed through the official website before participation.
No Intoxicated Persons Allowed: Any individual under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate in The Khalsa Garden.
Sikh Values & Conduct: The entire initiative is rooted in Sikh values of seva, humility, and respect. All participants are expected to be polite, respectful, and uphold Sikh principles at all times.
By joining and participating in The Khalsa Garden, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms.
Policy Updates & Participant Responsibility: These terms and conditions may be updated or amended at any time. It is the responsibility of participants to stay informed by regularly checking the website. Continued participation in the program will be considered as acceptance of the updated conditions.
